Ahoy Penguins!
I hope you all are enjoying the Island Adventure party as much as I am. It is wrapping up in the next couple days with some visits from Gary and Captain Waitaha. If you weren’t aware of these scheduled visits, be sure to check our discord where you will be updated on these visits and can plan ahead!
But for now, we’re going to be talking about the future: A new party coming in the next couple weeks as well as some sweet new features! Read on for the full post!
First off is the party that is being planned for August. It is the long awaited Music Jam which had been pushed off during some staffing changes. We already know a good deal about this party as I made a post about sneak peeks when it was originally going to come out. That post can be viewed here.
I know if Music Jam is all they’ve cracked it up to be and anything like this party it’s sure to be amazing! We’re not sure of the exact release date just yet, but it is expected to be mid-late August.
Next are some features that will be coming out in the next coming weeks, beginning with an updated friend list!
This friend list is reminiscent of a newer OG CP friends list where you could search for friends by name and send requests and also preview outfits of current friends.
Back in the old CP days when this feature came out you were able to add Mascots as well, will that feature be added along with this list system? Time will tell, but I’m guessing not at the current moment.
Next up is an updated Stamp Book
This stamp book will run smoother than the current one and also allow you to see others stamp books smoothly. Developers are also considering doing a stamp exchange for coins. Basically what would happen is you would reset your stampbook and each stamp you reset would earn you a certain amount of coins. This feature is not a given and just testing the waters, but it sounds pretty sweet to me!
And last but definitely not least:
Postcards are finally coming to CPL! Along with this feature finally coming out, devs are testing the waters on trying to allow penguins to create custom postcards to send to their friends. Sounds pretty sweet!
